Fabric: 36 count summer khaki Edinborough linen
Source: 1999 Santa card
Designer: The Prairie Schooler
So here is my second February ornament. I stitched it on 36 count fabric over two threads with one strand of floss, and the coverage, as you can see, isn't that great. A little disappointing, but oh well, it'll do. I used a Christmasy cotton plaid fabric for the back, and I'm very pleased with my finishing. My sewing skills seem to be improving. Yipee!

Leah, this looks gorgeous! I just love it, especially that gingerbread house. *sigh* Beautiful.
Both of your February ornaments look lovely!
How very cute! I have good intentions...of stitching all these up some day....fingers crossed! Yours is very lovely and perfectly finished!
Oh this is a cute one! Interesting how your coverage looks just like when I did the Nutcrackers on 25 ct over two with two strands. The "airiness" took some getting used to, but I eventually decided that I liked the look.
You have stitched and finished two very nice ornaments for February. Both are very different in style and so lovely. Great finishes!
I love it! The Noel one is also great. :D
Your santa look gorgeous, Leah. I love it.
Another beauty! Some primitive designs call for one thread over two, and the end result is very soft looking. This is probably how your ornament looks.
As for the SAL Couture pattern when I print out something on my computer you can adjust the size to cover the entire piece of paper from the printer or make it small. My pattern is 8 1/2" X 11" like the computer paper.
Both of your ornaments are beautiful! Love the finishing, too.
