Hoppy Easter!

For the past few years, about a week or two after Easter, Reagan has begged to make this little Easter bird nest treats made of melted chocolate and Shredded Wheat. Finally, she remembered to bug me before Easter, and here are the fruits of her labour:

And here are the fruits of my labour (and because I generally do not enjoy shopping, it truly was a labour):

This morning, bright and early, Reagan and I are off to Montréal and Dan is off to work. It's weird spending holidays with in-laws sans spouse. But I've packed plenty of magazines, a big ole book, a Twilight DVD, and of course a cross stitch project. I'm only going for an overnight visit, so surely I'll be able to keep myself busy.

Oh wow, you're a better woman than I am! If the DH isn't around, the ILs don't get visited!!

Love your DD's Easter nests, and your shopping was lovely!
